DBOA Training philosophy;

At DBOA, the training program will center around three objectives.  One core objective of our training program is to get our officials to the right spot on the floor to maximize their ability to make accurate play calls.  The remaining two objectives are knowledge of the rules and the use of crisp, strong mechanics.   Everyone in our chapter must be trained accordingly such that we are ALL on the same page..........Billy White, DBOA Vice President

DBOA is committed to training officials.  As a new official DBOA will commit to giving you comprehensive training that covers:

  • Floor positioning
  • Game management skills
  • Rules knowledge
  • Proper mechanics
  • Overall officiating skills

This training will prepare you to officiate your first game with the confidence needed to administer the game properly.

TRAINING DATES WILL BE UPDATED ON THE CHAPTER EVENT CALENDAR, PLEASE CHECK BACK OFTEN FOR UPDATES.
